What is a Visa prepaid card?
The Visa prepaid cards can be used anywhere the "debit" version of the credit card can be used. When the card balance reaches zero or the card expires (whichever comes first), the card may no longer be used. The prepaid card cannot be used at an Automatic Teller Machine.
Once I place my order, when will I receive my Visa prepaid card?
You will receive an email confirming your order a few minutes after it is submitted. Your prepaid card processing and US Mail delivery can take up to 2-4 weeks.
How are Visa prepaid cards shipped?
Visa prepaid cards will be sent via US Mail.
Does my Visa prepaid card expire?
Yes, Prepaid Cards expire. The expiration date is printed on the card itself and is 12 months from the date the card was printed, expiring at the end of the twelfth month. Example: Visa Prepaid Card printed and issued in June 2011, expires June, 31 2012.
Can I use my Visa prepaid card at an ATM?
No. There is no ATM access.
How do I know how much money is on the card?
You may check your balance by calling Citi Prepaid Customer Service at 800-522-7458 or visiting www.prepaid.citi.com. You may NOT check your balance at the checkout, nor do store receipts print your available balance. Be sure you have available funds prior to making your purchase.
What if a balance remains on the Visa prepaid card after it expires?
After your card expires, there may be a fee assessed, as indicated in your terms and conditions.
What if my prepaid card is lost or stolen?
If your prepaid card is lost/stolen, please call Citi Prepaid Services at 877-855-7201. They will re-issue your card the first time free of charge. If you require additional card reissues, $6.95 will be deducted from the balance of your card per reissue.
