IHG Bravo! Awards and Thanks! eCards FAQs
1.  What is a Bravo! Award?
IHG’s employee recognition program Bravo! is designed to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary efforts and contributions of our employees. A Bravo! Award is a certificate that is presented to an employee and can be redeemed for a gift card/certificate.
2. What are Thanks! (Employee-to-Employee) eCards?
Thanks! eCards are a fun and easy way to recognize or say thanks to a fellow employee with a non-monetary electronic card. Thanks! eCards can be personalized and are delivered via email directly to the recipient. There are four different eCards available to IHG employees: "Thanks," "Congratulations," "Amazing Teamwork" and "Bravo!".  All employees with a company email address are eligible to send and receive eCards.
3. What are my redemption options with a Bravo! Award?
Through our new partnership with InComm InCentives, we have redesigned Bravo! to give employees more choice and flexibility in award selections via gift cards to over 350 retail, restaurant, travel, and entertainment options. Whether you prefer a national or regional selection, or an in-store, catalog or online shopping experience, you will find a retailer that gives you exactly what you want.
4. Who is eligible to participate in the Bravo! recognition program?
All Americas Corporate, CRO, and Hotel employees are eligible to receive a Bravo! award.
5. What are the monetary award levels and denominations in the Bravo! recognition program?
Bravo! Awards are available in several levels and denominations:
  • Kudos Award - $10, $15 or $20
  • Hooray Award - $25
  • Applause Award - $50
  • Well Done Award- $100
  • Standing Ovation Award - $250
  • Encore Award - $500 
6. What are the delivery options for Bravo! Awards?
There are three methods to deliver the award to the recipient: Paper, Email and Print & Present. Paper award certificates are printed and shipped by InComm InCentives to the nominator. Paper awards are sent via regular post office delivery and can take 3-10 days to arrive. Paper awards shipped directly from InComm InCentives come ready-to-present in a unique tuxedo jacket.  Email award certificates are sent directly to the recipient’s company email address.  Print & Present award certificates are accessed via an email sent to the nominator and are presented to the recipient.
7. After I process the nomination, how long does it take to receive the Bravo! award certificate or Thanks eCards?
After processing the nomination online, nominators will receive an email confirming the order. For nominations requiring manager approval, delivery is scheduled as below, upon receipt of the approval.

  • Email awards or Thanks! eCards are delivered to the recipient’s inbox with 30 minutes of placing the order.  
  • Paper awards - orders that are submitted by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time will be shipped the same business day to the nominator for presentation to the recipient. Orders received after 3:00 p.m. Eastern time may not ship until the next business day.
  • Print & Present are delivered to the nominator’s inbox within 60 minutes of placing the order.  
8. Do IHG Bravo! Award Certificates expire?
No, Bravo! awards never expire. However, some individual retailer gift cards/certificates may have expiration or “use by” dates. Award recipients can call InComm InCentives’ Customer Service Consultants Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, at 866.601.5918 with any questions.
9. What if I have lost my Bravo! Award Certificate or Merchant gift card/certificate?
Bravo! Award certificates can be replaced prior to redemption if misplaced or stolen. The Award Nominator or Recipient must contact the InComm InCentives’ Customer Service Consultants at 866.601.5918 to have the original award certificate cancelled and a new award issued.

Merchant gift cards/certificates that are expired, lost, or stolen that were ordered with a Bravo! award certificate cannot be reissued or replaced. In addition, merchant gift cards/certificates cannot be returned or exchanged.
10. How are taxes handled for a Bravo! Award?
The Company pays the OASDI and Medicare tax on behalf of the employee. Federal and state withholding are the responsibility of the employee. The taxable dollars will be included on form W-2 at year end. The tax will be paid when the employee files the federal and state tax returns.
11. Is online ordering safe?
InComm InCentives invokes a secure software technology, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), whenever you enter personal information on www.gccincentives.com to ensure that you enjoy a safe online shopping experience. The SSL software encrypts your order information to prevent the decoding and misuse of your information by unauthorized individuals.
 
Some versions of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers. In this case, you will be unable to connect to the server so you won't have to worry about mistakenly placing an order through an unsecured connection. If you can't get access to the secure server for whatever reason, please call the Account Management Team at 866.601.5926, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Eastern time.
12. What if I have additional questions about ordering Bravo! Awards or Thanks! eCards?
